A meeting of the Namchi Government College Alumni Association Executive took place on 19th December 2024 at Namchi College, focusing on preparations for the upcoming visit of the NAAC Peer Team. Principal Dr. Deepak Tewari announced that the college will allocate an office space for the Alumni Association within the college building.
The gathering also addressed key topics such as alumni registration, a membership drive, and various student activities organized by the association. The primary focus was on ensuring readiness for the NAAC visit scheduled for February next year.
Mrs. Raj Kri. Thapa, Deputy Speaker of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly and an executive member of the association, proposed several initiatives for students ahead of the NAAC team’s arrival, and she committed to having Alumni Association members present during the visit.
